As can be seen from the before and after pictures, the house was purchased in a dilapidated state, having been neglected for many years.
Built across four floors, the property provided generous accommodation, but few amenities.
The work included the installation of four new bathrooms to create both master and guests suites, along with the creation of an office space in the basement, and a new kitchen.
The decoration include the restoration of the original cornices and fireplaces to all rooms. Working shutter were fitted to the downstairs drawing room, study and kitchen, along with the restoration of the tile flooring within the hallway.
"We were keen to bring modern comforts to the house whilst keeping the beautiful period features, Declan and his team were sympathetic to this in their work" Kim Witcher
Our work also included carpentry, rewiring, plumbing and heating along with the repair of the sash windows and cleaning of the outside stonework.
